Le Sibille & Alveare di Artemide
0 commentsWorld, March 2022 – In a world overwhelmed by injustices, which more powerful weapons than love, art and beauty to find peace and hope? Le Sibille, always committed to celebrating universal love and union, together take part in Alveare d’Artemide, the cultural project founded by Marina Balsano and curated by Irene Galandra, which has the noble goal to transmit a message of strength and joy through unique pieces of wearable art created in the Roman Atelier. Each jewel is linked to current issues of great social importance, such as peace, sustainability, the rights of women and minorities. The collaboration with the artist Paola Gandolfi gave life to Rondine in Fiamme collection, in which the protagonist is the swallow, a symbol of faith and rebirth. The collection consists of seven works, including the pendant Rondine in Fiamme, a swallow made with the technique of the Small Roman Mosaic on whose wings burns a living flame with a profound meaning, and Albero Madre necklace, which represents a majestic centuries-old tree whose roots are turned to the face of the woman who will wear it, to give her strength and support. More current than ever is the No Bomb jewel, which depicts a missile provocatively decorated with delicate and colorful flowers. “Getting a smile of lightness and bringing no devastation into space but only floral gifts”: these are the words of Le Sibille to describe the piece of jewelry.
