Roma Jewelry Week, an international event aiming to spread the appreciation for contemporary jewelry, artistic jewelcrafting and historical goldsmithing, is back in Rome for its third edition from October 6th to 15th, 2023.
Le Sibille take part in the event as members of the New Roman School of Contemporary Jewelry, showing their atelier and creations to the public during three unmissable events:
October 7th to 15th: the exhibition Ri-trovamenti. Il gioiello tra Roma e Valenza hosted by Museo Napoleonico. An exploration of contemporary jewelry and a meditation on goldsmith art through the ages, but mostly a dialogue bewteen maestros from Rome and Valenza. The second phase of an ospitality exchange which started in 2022 during Valenza Jewelry Week.
October 9th to 15th: Le Sibille’s showroom houses the collection Rondine in Fiamme. A collaboration between Le Sibille and the artist Paola Gandolfi, commissioned by Alveare di Artemide, taking the shape of seven wearable sculptures posing against violence and war.
December 12th to 16th: the exhibition project Trasparenze e Contaminazioni taking place in Villa Altieri, a prestigious seventeenth-century roman mansion. Here Le Sibille will be one of the eighteen designers showcasing their work, exploring new languages to express the aesthetic of miniatures.
Roma Jewelry Week is conceived by the architect Monica Cecchini, curated by Monica Cecchini and Claudio Franchi, jointly organized by InCinque Open Art Monti and Municipio I of Roma Capitale, VIVE – Vittoriano and Palazzo Venezia, Comune and Archivi Orafi of Valenza, sponsored bythe Municipality of Rome, the Security, Productive Activities and Gender Equality Departments and Municipio I Roma Centro.
